As a Senior Product Designer, I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product managers, front-end and back-end developers, and compliance teams. Users with more than one legal entity (avg. amount 3-4 per user) need to re-login every time they need to perform an operation with a different legal entity.

After some exploration and experiments, I chose the Double Diamond framework. This approach was a suitable choice due to the high uncertainty and complexity.

I spoke with 10 respondents. Although the sample size is small, it helped me identify patterns and make decisions aligned with the user's actual mental model

I discovered that organization switching works best when integrated into the store switching scenario. For users, an organization represents the sum of stores, gateways, and payouts. Therefore, we decided to interface these elements together.

I introduced an additional level in the store switching modal—organization. Here, users can select their desired organization and immediately view the associated product list. This allows for seamless switching between organizations without the need to log in again.

Results

SMS-related costs were reduced by 60% through the introduction of new information architecture and authentication methods. Additionally, the time users spent reaching their target action was significantly reduced due to improved organization switching.
